A healthy ego is one that humbly serves the Higher Self, or soul.
It receives its instructions from the soul and carries them out in the physical world.
In its normal state, the ego does not get stuck in judgment and condemnation.
Judgment and condemnation only occur when the ego is in control and not the soul.
Those who seek to destroy the ego are, in fact, caught in it.
The ego does not inherently fight against parts of itself and make them wrong.
It only does so when it is out of touch with the soul.
By allowing the ego to reign, you are giving it power that rightfully belongs to the soul.
By expanding your awareness to include the higher dimensions of yourself, you see the ego in its true perspective.
It is simply the mechanism for relating in the third-dimensional world.
Because the ego is the sense of an individual self, left to its own devices, it will see everything as separate.
So if you identify with the ego; i.e., believe you are the ego, you will also believe you are separate from the rest of Creation.
By identifying with your true essence (your soul), you will no longer see yourself as separate from others and from life — and the ego will then serve you well in your journey through life.
